Enjoyed this. Very informed. I had the impression that Dylan did not all that much like Warhol for a number of reasons. I remember him expressing some doubts as to the validity of much of the New York art scene, Modern art, etc. Also, something about Warhol "using people". Anyways, awesome shot of Dylan's station wagon and that whole debacle. Very fun.

Dylan did love Elvis, though.

At least Bob didn’t have to live with Andy’s shit “art” cluttering up his garage.

He did not like Warhol. But He sold his music catalogue recently for around half a billion - so that on top of the many millions he already had - he’s doing alright. His latest book on the Philosophy of Modern Song is a must read! Unbridled brilliant and some would say controversial Dylan prose about everything.

Seems to me his youthful impulse saved him years of having to look at that crap

absolutely fascinating - repulsive and attractive at the same time. Where will AI take us? This is pretty cool but yes, takes a bit of effort to absorb it. . .

That was such an entertaining read! I might see Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson at their Outlaw Music Festival Tour. Might be the last time he performs. He's 83! He sold his music catalog for several hundred million dollars but I bet he's still kicking himself for that trade bc as the saying goes you can never be too rich I guess🤪sabrinalabow.substack.com

Heard this story but not the part of Dylan trading it for a couch. Zimmy certainly had chutzpah
